Hello
Hi! My name is Edwin Santos Lepiz (He/Him/Él)
I believe healing begins with vulnerability—the willingness to show up authentically, especially in spaces where performance, productivity, or caregiving have been prioritized over our own needs. In therapy, I honor the power of naming our experiences and exploring how shame, trauma, and systemic expectations shape our internal worlds. By creating a grounded, compassionate, and collaborative space, I support clients in reconnecting with themselves and building resilience rooted in self-trust rather than self-criticism.
My Approach to Therapy
My therapeutic approach is grounded in radical self-love, trauma stewardship, and liberation-oriented care. I work with students across the lifespan—including high school, GED, undergraduate, and graduate learners—who are navigating academic pressure, identity development, burnout, and the emotional weight of expectations. I also support healthcare professionals, including nurses, EMS providers, and other medical professionals, who carry the cumulative impact of caregiving, trauma exposure, moral injury, and chronic stress.

Much of my clinical work centers on trauma, crisis intervention, attachment wounds, and burnout within caregiving and performance-based environments. Whether supporting students through periods of transition and identity formation or working with healthcare professionals processing cumulative trauma, moral distress, and loss, I approach therapy with deep respect, collaboration, and empowerment. Together, we work to rewrite narratives shaped by shame, fear, and exhaustion into ones grounded in self-worth, agency, and choice.

I recognize that many of the challenges clients face are not individual failures but understandable responses to systems that demand endurance, silence, and self-sacrifice. Healing is not about “fixing” what is broken, but about reclaiming the inherent worth, wisdom, and humanity that has always been present. I integrate evidence-based, trauma-focused modalities—including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and other somatic and attachment-informed approaches—while also centering decolonial and multicultural feminist perspectives to ensure therapy is responsive to each client’s lived experience and nervous system needs.

Supporting individuals experiencing suicidal ideation is a specialty area of my clinical work. I offer Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS), an evidence-based and compassionate approach that centers collaboration, safety, and hope. Together, we explore what is driving the pain, identify what helps keep you safe, and create a personalized plan for healing and stabilization. Throughout this process, you are supported every step of the way as we work toward defining what makes life feel worth living—on your terms.
