Hello

I'm Chris Curlett.

I offer therapy that reconnects you to your worth, your voice, and your purpose.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and EMDR Certified therapist who helps people let go of who they think they should be so they can fully become who they are.

My approach is eclectic, trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and soul-honoring. In our work together, we won’t just manage symptoms — we’ll explore the deeper layers: the stories, roles, patterns, and beliefs that may have helped you survive but no longer help you thrive.

Whether you’re a high-achiever hitting an emotional wall, a creative feeling blocked, navigating trauma, identity stress, burnout, anxiety, or simply longing to feel seen in your fullness — you’re in the right place.

My Approach to Therapy

My approach is grounded in creating a safe, affirming, and collaborative space where healing can happen honestly and at your own pace. I believe therapy should reconnect you to your sense of self-respect, inner freedom, creativity, and genuine joy. You are the expert of your life; my role is to help illuminate the places that feel difficult, overwhelming, or hard to face alone.

Many of my clients are men, creatives, and high-performing professionals who feel exhausted from carrying everything alone. I also enjoy providing parenting support and parent training, helping caregivers build stronger communication, emotional understanding, and connection within their families.

I integrate multiple evidence-based and relational modalities to meet each client’s unique needs and lived experiences. In addition to my clinical work, I am a professional actor, dancer, and arts educator; this creative background deeply informs my therapeutic style, allowing me to bring empathy, curiosity, humor, and authenticity into the therapy space.

Together, we’ll uncover your own wisdom through reflection, curiosity, deep presence, and sometimes laughter. Therapy is not about “fixing” you — it’s about helping you reconnect with the parts of yourself that may have been silenced, overburdened, or disconnected through stress, trauma, or survival.

Therapy with me is direct, grounded, compassionate, and collaborative — helping you move from survival mode toward clarity, self-trust, resilience, and sustainable success.

You don’t have to figure it all out alone. If you have questions about my practice or want to explore whether we’d be a good fit, I’d love to hear from you.
